May of this year, Beyoncé took a trip to Haiti and while she was there paid a visit to Damien Pediatric Hospital. With her beautiful vocals, Beyoncé express how she see's the pressure's of society. she sings "Perfection is a disease of a nation, it's the soul that needs surgery.", in her hit song Pretty hurts which debuted from her secretly dropped album Beyonce. When Beyonce was a part of the girl group, Destiny's child, they released this empowering song. This song along can push anyone to pick their head up and push through any situation. Beyonce and friends embracing their curves and sending out the message to love your body.....Who else do you think would be able to get bootylicious in the dictionary....that's right the Queen herself. All humanitarians have a little sexy in them right?, Well if they don't, Queen Bey just opened a door for them and anyone else who didn't know it was okay to be sexy and embrace that sexual side. Go ahead, channel your inner Beyonce. | Calling all Beyoncé fans (and or haters)! I introduce you to your new favorite go to site for all things Beyoncé! Whether you’re looking for her hottest new video, scandalous stories, or just some QueenBey facts, you’ll find them all right here. For all you side wanderers here to take a peak on what’s going on, I’m sure you’re wondering, “Of all things to write about, why Beyoncé?”,. Well how could I not want to write about Beyoncé? Beyoncé has been my idol since I was a diva in diapers. I have been following her career since 1996(the year I was born), not only has she been an artist in her own category, but she is also a humanitarian, due to her acts to raise money for countless charities and specifically for her most recent act of kindness, also known as #BeyGOODHaiti, where the proceeds are donated to help the country of Haiti, specifically Damien Pediatric Hospital, in their time of need. Beyoncé has been an inspiration to not only myself, but to Men AND Women all around the world. For Example, her hit songs Pretty Hurts, Survivor, Independent, and so many more demonstrate how uplifting she is and how much she cares to uplift others and be a positive influence. The message I received from her hits, survivor, pretty hurts, & etc., say, “Hey, I have been through it too. Stay strong, keep your head up, you will survive”, really helped me when I felt like there was no one willing to listen and comfort me. Beyoncé is not only about encouraging others to be strong and push through the fight but she is definitely an advocate of body acceptance and appreciating the skin you’re in. Hence another hit from her Destiny’s Child days, Bootylicious. That one song, in my opinion, screamed to every woman and/or man “Look yall, I’m Curvy with a big ass, and guess what I LOVE IT!! And you should too”. I aspire to be like her because she is a true definition of a classy but also sexy human being. Beyoncé is a golden package all in one. She is a businesswoman, a mother, a sex symbol, a humanitarian, an actress, a dancer, one of the best singers of all time, but most importantly just like you and me. Beyoncé was once a young lady with a dream, and with hard work, dedication and perseverance, she is now able to live her dream today and give men and women like you and me the courage to fight to live our dreams too. |
